How do I setup my own nameservers?
Authored by: Rob

Each nameserver is based on an IP address, by default you need at least two nameservers (ns1, ns2, etc). So you would need two ip addresses (available for purchase on our website). Upon signing up for the nameservers, we do set the nameservers up on the server. However, you still need to contact your domain registrar and actually register the ips as nameservers. When you contact them, it's suggested to give them the following information:

ns1.yourdomain.com - XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
ns2.yourdomain.com - XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

Replacing the X's with your ip addresses assigned to you. Once that is completed your nameservers should be ready for use.
